With a total investment of 100 Million USD and possession of 28 hectares land, TOP ECHO MIDDLE EAST International Company (limited responsibility) launched a huge Ferro-Chrome project base upon applying advanced technologies and professional knowledge of its directors in the field of mining and mineral production. Considering special geological characteristics of Kerman Province in mineral resources and advantages of establishment of a Ferro-Chrome Factory in Rafsanjan Special Economic Zone (RSEZ), 25Km away from Rafsanjan city and 85Km from Kerman city (capital of Kerman Province), TOP ECHO MIDDLE EAST International Company Ltd decided to make the most use of all exploited mineral ores to get the utmost value. The Plan for Ferro-chrome factory is to produce high carbon Ferro chrome of 60%~63%. We are now planning for a total amount of 200,000 tons per year with which we will be within top 20 biggest Ferro chrome projects in the world. Benefiting from advantages like locating beside highway and close to chrome mines and port that make the logistics much convenient; sufficient facilities such as water, power and gas; the most equipped laboratory in the country; one 230KV electrical substation with double circuit power supply (one from Kerman power plant and the other from one upper substation) and double busbar connection which guarantee both external and internal stability, sufficient and stable power supply, has placed this project into a favorable position.



Chromite is an oxide mineral composed of chromium, iron and oxygen (FeCr2O4).

It is a dark gray to black in color with a metallic to submetallic luster and a high specific gravity. 
Chromite is important because it is the only economic ore of chromium, an essential element for a wide variety of metal, chemical and manufactured products. Many other minerals contain chromium, but none of them are found in deposits that can be economically mined to produce chromium

Chromium is an important ingredient in steel; it gives this metal increased hardness and toughness, and it helps it reduce chemical erosion over time. Chromium is also vital in the aerospace industry because it is used to anodize the aluminum that is used to build aircraft and related equipment. These aluminum alloys made with chromium are incredibly heat resistant, making them ideal for use in jet engines. Chromite is an important refractory material, although production for this purpose is only approximately 1% of world production of chromite.
